A torsion spring failing is loud, sudden, and unmistakable. Our technicians match the correct wire gauge and wind direction to your door's actual weight, not a guess off a chart.
A mismatched spring either fails early or overloads the opener. We size it correctly every time.
When one torsion spring fails, the other is on the same cycle clock. We recommend replacing both and explain why.
Winding bars, proper sequence, and hands-on training are non-negotiable when a spring is under load.
The spring installed is chosen for durability, not just for passing the next inspection.
Whatever brought you here, one of these service lines is the fix, and one call gets a technician moving.
We calculate the correct torsion spring specification, then use proper winding bars and sequence to install it safely.
Worn extension springs stretch unevenly over time. We replace both sides together with new safety containment cables.
A snapped spring means the door won't move safely. We carry multiple spring sizes on every truck for a same-visit fix.
Older doors with extension springs can be converted to a torsion system for smoother, quieter, longer-lasting operation.
We estimate remaining cycle life based on door usage and spring age, so you can replace before a sudden failure strands you.
A quick description of the spring symptom gets the right parts loaded on the truck before arrival.
Our vans carry the spring inventory needed for most jobs without a parts run.
Precise measurement comes first, then a confirmed flat price for the correct spring.
Spring installed, tension set, balance tested, and backed by written warranty before we leave.
“Diagnosed the exact wire gauge needed and had it on the truck already. No parts run, no delay.”
“They measured everything before quoting instead of eyeballing it like the last company did.”
“Preemptive spring check caught one close to failure before it snapped. Glad I called before it stranded us.”
Pricing varies by spring size and door weight, quoted upfront on-site with no hidden add-ons.
Replacing just one often means a second failure within months. We'll lay out the cost difference honestly.
We strongly recommend a licensed technician handle any spring work given the forces involved.
Cycle life varies by spring quality and usage frequency, but a decade is a common lifespan for a well-matched spring.
Yes, an incorrectly sized spring forces the opener motor to compensate, which shortens its lifespan considerably.
Most spring replacements are completed same-day, often within one to two hours once the technician arrives.
Same-day dispatch, upfront pricing, and a written warranty on every visit.
